Welcome to Colga F.C.

Colga FC is an association football (soccer) club in south County Galway. It is a community voluntary organisation run by its members for the benefit of their families and neighbours. The club promotes soccer among girls and boys of all ages. We recognise that sport is for life and we value teamwork, good health and fair play as much as tournament success.

Buy Colga Kit Online

We have partnered with our kit supplier M2sport to open the Colga online shop to allow you access to training kit throughout the season. Kit can be ordered directly through their site. You can see the full range on our kit page and link through to their site by clicking on the main image.

FAI Club Mark Award

Many thanks to Johnny Morris Burke & Nigel Keady, regional development officers for the FAI, who made the official presentation of our award of the FAI Club Mark entry Level. This has been a massive effort on the part of some key club members most notably Paula Kealy and Geraldine Browne. Barry McGann provided some stellar guidance through the whole process. Onwards and upwards!

Child Safeguarding Statement

As part of the clubs goal of maintaining the FAI Club Mark; and our long term commitment to ensuring the safest possible environment for children to train and play in; we have recently updated our Child Safeguarding statement. This is now available to be reviewed by clicking onto this link.

Traffic Management

  • With the new season upon us and a change in location for training we would ask that all drivers entering the grounds in Kilcornan keep their speed as low as possible and pay extra attention to their surroundings.

  • As parents are dropping off children for training on Saturdays there will be games taking place simultaneously on the main pitches.

  • We will have a traffic management system in place for dropping off and collecting at the astro pitch for when the season commences and would ask that everyone adhere to it. Thanks.
